First thing you want to do is keep sort of together. The best strategy is to move in a "wall". That way you aren't bunched up
and it is harder for the enemy to shoot you. When you see the enemy, it's a good idea to spread out even more to
create a crossfire (red arrows).

Once the ships are in place, everyone can just shoot generally at the enemy. Because bullets are coming from every angle,
you will almost surely get a kill even against the best players.

Sometimes the enemy will be visible and while parts of our team stays firm and attacks (as decoys) others may
swing around to the side/back and shoot from there. If done well, this can easily confuse the enemy and result
in easy kills.

The thing that you really want to avoid is bunching up in OUR team. This is because once our team bunches up
the enemy can just shoot in our general direction and get easy kills.

When chasing a lone enemy don't just follow directly behind him. If you do, it is very easy for him to shoot at you.
If you are chasing 2on1, 3on1, 4on1 or 5on1, it is advisible that some or most of the people chasing should be trying
to move in from the sides. Try to go in front of the enemy cutting off possible escape routes while one person tries
not to die holding the center. This will give you good angles to shoot the enemy down at.

If you are running away from a bunch of enemies, try and run as fast as you can. You want to be trying your
best to just dodge and regroup. You will do the team no good if you die, so don't even fight. Just run away and
regroup. Don't waste a death.

If you are running away from 2 enemies there is a large temptation to fight them 2on1. If the game is at even strength
(i.e. 5on5), it is completely pointless to fight the enemy. Follow the picture:
1. Enemy A shoots at you.
2. You dodge.
3. You shoot back at Enemy A.
4. Enemy B who was waiting all long vulches you.
As you can see even if you hit Enemy A (you might not hit him) you leave yourself vulnerable to attack. If you die
you do your team no good. That is why it is not advisible to fight 2on1 in Trench Wars. Regroup with your team,
and fight together

There are times when you absolutely must fight down a man. The following is the best running strategy. Please do NOT use
it unless it is absolutely necessary (i.e. you are the last person alive). If you can run reasonably well,
you will usually get it so that you won't have all the enemy on your screen. Many times only the guy who runs the fastest
and STRAIGHT AT YOU will catch up. This is the position you want to be in. Because he is running straight at you,
he's an easy target, and it's hard for him to avoid. Just run backwards for a bit and drop a bullet in his direction.
50% of the time if you have a reasonably good shot... you will kill him. Just make sure you have a plan in mind
about how to avoid the other enemies (i.e. the one in the picture circling to get a better angle on you).

You have to remember about lag. Lag is your enemy. If the enemy team has laggers it is easy to:
1. Focus on the lagger. He killed you by lag, so you want revenge. This is BAD. If you keep trying to kill
laggers they will just lag you and keep killing you! BAD IDEA.
2. They are laggy but you fight them like you think all bullets will kill them. This is BAD. Obviously if they lag
not all your bullets are going to hit them (even if they do on your screen). You always want to fly a safe distance
away from the enemy and leave yourself room to dodge. Remember if they lag, their bullets will appear 1/2 inches from
their ship giving you less time to actually dodge from them.
Finally use your team. Do not go in alone, play WITH your teammates, don't make them play with you. The only way
teamwork can happen effectively is if no one puts themselves first.
